During his 12 year tenure at NCR, designing and installing business operating systems, he attended college nights for eight years majoring in business and law. In 1976 Palmer (his middle name) was started with a niche service market of G.E. boilers in a Levittown/Rahway, NJ neighborhood - and has grown from a part time venture to a million dollar a year wet heat only, heating, design-build and service contractor.

Since retiring as CEO of Palmer Heating, Mr. Secor remains active in ASHRAE, does legal and design-build consulting and free lance writer of technical wet heat issues, small business operations, and business ethics.

His wife Mary, of 47 years, three sons and six grandchildren are the love of his life. He retired to a newly built mountain top home in northern Vermont that won the ASHRAE Region 1 and State energy efficiency standards highest award.
